All your personal, legal bases covered

Saines Lucas Solicitors is a long-established law firm.

Operating since 1939 in Ballarat and Western Victoria the firm specialises in all personal injury claims, in particular, WorkCover, TAC, asbestos, sexual assault and abuse claims and slipping and tripping claims.

For the past three years, Saines Lucas has shared Melton offices with local firm, WPC Lawyers who provide expert services in wills, probate and conveyancing. The two firms have developed a strong relationship.

Nick Lyons, a principal of Saines Lucas, has practised extensively in all types of personal injury claims and litigation for the past 29 years. He is a Law Institute of Victoria accredited specialist in personal injury law.

In 2018 and 2019 Nick and Saines Lucas were voted as one of the leading workers compensation and transport accident lawyers and law firms in Victoria by Doyles Guide for Lawyers. Nick visits the Melton office on a weekly basis.

Practice manager Peter McGrath says the team is pleased to now provide family law services at the Melton office with the addition of senior family lawyer Natasha Papaelia, who has practised extensively in the area for 15 years.

“Natasha works exclusively out of our Melton office and can see clients in Melton or by phone or video conference if required. We are happy to help clients located anywhere,” Mr McGrath says.

“We are very pleased to welcome Natasha to our team of experienced lawyers.

“We act for personal injury and family law clients from Melbourne all the way to the South Australian border.”

Other Saines Lucas lawyers also visit the Melton office by appointment, practicing in the areas of unfair dismissal and wage claims, commercial and building disputes and litigation and criminal law.

Mr McGrath says the team at WPC Lawyers compliment the firm’s services with their expertise in the fields of wills, probate and conveyancing, including disputed wills and estates.

“We pride ourselves on providing a professional and friendly approach to clients, with the provision of no nonsense, plain-English explanations to clients,” Mr McGrath says. “We make the law clearer and easy to understand so our clients are fully aware of their rights, as well as risks and options. We provide ‘no win, no fee’ services in all personal injury claims that we take on and we are happy to provide a free, no obligation first appointment or telephone call to discuss your claim with you.”
