Birds of a feather

Museum Victoria will display taxidermied birds and related animals from 7-7.30pm at Melton library on October 26. Hear about the amazing journey of a migrating stint from Dave Torr of Werribee Birdlife. Entry is free but bookings are required.

Dispose of your household green waste free at the Melton Recycling Facility. The Melton Recycling Facility is open seven days 8am-4.30pm. Conditions apply.

Sunrise Women’s Carers Group

Sunrise Women’s Carers Group is a social support group for women living in the west who provide ongoing care to someone with a disability, mental illness and/or chronic health condition. They meet fortnightly on a Tuesday at the Melton library.

Gardening workshop

On November 11, Bloomdale’s is holding a gardening workshop with Bunnings. Bunnings will provide coaching at the Bloomdale Land Sales Centre from 11.30am-12.30pm on how best to grow vegie and herb gardens at home.
