Night market

The 2017-18 Night Market returns to the Queen Victoria Market on November 15 and will run every Wednesday until April 11. Enjoy more than 60 global street food stalls and festival bars; more than 130 artisan fashion, homewares and general merchandise traders plus; a rotating line-up of live music and entertainment.

Werribee craft festival

The 39th annual Werribee Craft Festival will be on again this November 11-12 from 9am-4pm at Encore Events Centre, 80 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing. There will be more than 100 stalls showcasing and selling high-quality, interesting crafts, children’s craft activities, Devonshire teas and other food stalls.

Walking carer support group

A new walking group supported by Carers Victoria will hold its first walk on Tuesday, November 14 at 9am followed by funded morning tea at a cafe.

Get your op-shop on

The Brotherhood of St Laurence has a local op-shop at 19 Elm Park Drive, Hoppers Crossing, and has a great mix of second-hand goods including clothing, shoes, bric-a-brac, electrical, books and furniture. It also accepts donations at the store. Open Monday to Sunday from 9.30am-5pm, closed on public holidays.

St Andrew’s parish fair

Enjoy an entertaining day out for the whole family at the St Andrew’s parish fair on November 18 from 10am-7pm, 110 Greaves Street, Werribee.

Food, drinks, rides, entertainment, a variety of stalls, spinning wheel, cake stall, book stall and plant stall are all on offer. This is a free event.

Many raffles to support, with the major raffle prize of a Holden Trax drawn at the close of the fair. No dogs allowed.

Christmas market

Do all your festive shopping at a special Christmas market at the Wyndham Vale Community Centre, 86 Manor Lakes Boulevard, Manor Lakes, on December 16 from 5-9pm.
