The 16-81 to 2-70 win puts Melton (50) into the four ahead of MCC (49) and Glenroy (42).
Melton-2 lost 77-72 to Yarraville-Footscray-3, Melton-3 lost 86-85 to Deer Park-2, while Melton-4 won 86-60.5 against Sunshine City-3.
