MOORABOOL Council has been given an average rating in a biennial survey by the Association of Consulting Surveyors Victoria.
Voted by licensed surveyors, it found the council rated “acceptable” in terms of performance in the administration of applications for subdivision and development.
Councils were assessed on efficiency, response time, understanding of the Subdivision Act and level of co-operation.
More than 80 per cent of rural councils were rated acceptable or better, with only a small number of councils rated unacceptable or poor.
