DJERRIWARRH’S “longest lunch” on March 1 raised almost $10,000 for medical equipment at Bacchus Marsh and Melton Regional Hospital.
About 150 people packed out the Plough Hotel for the event.
Hospital chief executive Bruce Marshall thanked Bacchus Marsh Grammar students for waiting on tables.
He said the event was a key part of the hospital’s annual fund-raising calendar.
