Your guide to week three of Hide and Seek festival

A massive shire-wide festival is currently running across Moorabool, with live entertainment each weekend for residents to enjoy over winter, continuing on Saturday July 9 in Bacchus Marsh.

The day will kick off with a performance from Bill Digger from 1pm at Yo Barber, where audience members will enjoy folk rock tunes from Dunnstown artist Lachie Murphy.

Next door, local duo from Gordon the Darlings Family Trust will perform at the Local Tap Room from 2:45pm and treat audiences to their own brand of country folk music.

Following after will be family-friendly band Drongo and the Crow, who will entertain young and old with Australiana style songs from 3:45pm.

Later in the day, seasoned performer Ian Banks will perform at the BM Music Bowl, also known as the Bacchus Marsh Bowling Club. Banks has toured the country as well as overseas, sharing the stage with the likes of Suzie Quatro, Marcia Hines, Shannon Noll and Daryl Braithwaite.

Country duo Crank Williams and Patsy Decline will follow, taking audiences on a journey of blues, Americana, southern gothic and roots music.

Singer, rapper and spoken word poet NIASHA will finish the night at Flanagan’s Border Inn, showcasing her Zimbabwean heritage and soulful voice.

The events are all-ages and free to attend.
