A police vehicle was rammed in Fraser Rise on Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to reports of a vehicle suspiciously loitering around Shears Drive about 2.20am on April 10.
On arrival police sighted a red Holden Commodore, with false numberplates, parked in a driveway.
Police positioned their vehicle across the end of the driveway.
The driver of the Holden started its engine and drove directly into the passenger side door of the police vehicle.
The Holden reversed back up the driveway and then drove forward, ramming into the police vehicle a second time.
Police managed to manoeuvre their vehicle away from the driveway before the Holden took off at a fast rate of speed in a southerly direction on to Erin Drive.
One officer received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
