Bacchus Marsh locals are being urged to allow for extra travel time as night works take place at the intersections of Grant and Griffith streets.
From Monday 1 through to Thursday 4 December, service proving works are set to take place at the intersection between 8pm and 5am each night.
Temporary traffic management and traffic controllers will be in place, with recommendations to allow for up to 10 minutes additional travel time.
The upgrades include replacing the existing single lane roundabout with a dual lane roundabout, pedestrian crossings at Griffith Street and Parwan Road, and the introduction of a right turn ban for vehicles travelling from South Maddingley Road onto Parwarn Road.
The works are also expected to generate some noise, dust and vibrations at times, with trucks, site vehicles, machinery and workers operating throughout the area and weather conditions likely to impact the process.
The new upgrades are being made in an aim to improve road safety, enhance traffic flow, reduce congestion and provide better crossing opportunities for pedestrians and cyclists, according to the Transport Victoria website.
