A teenage boy has died after being stabbed at Woodgrove Shopping Centre in Melton West on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services responding to the incident found the boy in a critical condition and attempted to revive him by performing CPR.
However, he died in the outdoor food court area just before midday.
Police believe there may have been an altercation between the victim and another male, however the exact circumstances are yet to be determined.
Police said detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing at a High Street shopping centre and are yet to make an arrest.
