Man burned in Bacchus Marsh assault

A 57-year-old man is in hospital with serious burns following an assault and fire in Bacchus Marsh.

Emergency services were called to reports of a fire at an address about 9pm on Thursday 5 February, where they discovered the injured man.

He was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.

Police believe the injuries are in relation to an assault.
