Moorabool council is currently accepting submissions from the community on the future Ballan Library and Community Hub.
Residents are being asked to participate in a survey in order to learn what the community would like to see at the new hub.
The new facility was announced at the start of this year, receiving more than $5 million in funding from the state government, as well as $2 million from the council.
The hub will consist of a new library, community meeting rooms, a visitor Information centre, a maternal child health centre and outdoor space.
Residents who would like to have their say on the community hub can visit the Moorabool council engagement website, with the survey open until June 13.
The survey provides residents the chance to give feedback on disability access, extended opening hours, parking options, borrowing collections, spaces for community use and more.
It’s anticipated that the new community hub, located at 127 Inglis Street, will open its doors in 2023.
