Free mulch in Moorabool books out

Moorabool shire’s free mulch incentive to help residents clean up after storms hit the area in June has been booked out.

Bookings for round three became available yesterday morning for today, Friday and Sunday, however all of the slots have been filled.

For those who managed to score a booking, there are some rules that apply.

Residents can collect a maximum of two cubic metres of mulch per day, they will be required to provide staff with photo ID and must adhere to COVID requirements.

To ensure safety, residents must stay in their vehicles while a machine loads the mulch into their trailer or Ute.

Moorabool is yet to confirm if they will organise more rounds of mulch for those who missed out or require extra.
