Bookings for Moorabool residents to collect free firewood were booked out within two hours last week.
The bookings were for residents to collect free, unseasoned split firewood processed from debris from the June storm event.
Although they sold out, the council said they were putting aside a portion of firewood to be delivered to vulnerable members of the community.
