Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) personnel successfully controlled a house fire in Kurunjang in the early hours of this morning.
FRV responded to a request for assistance relating to a garage fire in Sirius Way in Kurunjang at about 12.30am.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to find the fire had already collapsed the roof of the garage at the single storey home.
FRV crew were able to contain the blaze in 20 minutes, stopping it before it spread to the home.
Ambulance Victoria treated the individual occupant at the home for smoke inhalation and burns. He was then transported to hospital for treatment.
