Victoria Police are attempting to return three items of jewellery to its owners which were found inside an allegedly stolen vehicle in Caroline Springs in December 2021.

On December 21, 2021, Victoria Police located the jewellery after apprehending a vehicle they believe was stolen.

The incident led to the arrest of two men from Caroline Springs.

The found items, which include two rings and a pair of earrings, were located inside the vehicle and are believed to be stolen, police said.

Vehicle crime squad detective senior constable Shannon Foden said they hoped the release of the images would assist in reuniting the owner with these unique items.

“These are fairly distinctive pieces of jewellery – they’re high end pieces and pretty valuable,” he said.

“A lot of work has gone into identifying who they might belong to, but our enquiries haven’t been able to turn anything up and we’ve hit a bit of a brick wall.

“I have no doubt they’re incredibly precious pieces of jewellery to someone, and we are very keen to reunite them with their owners.”

Victoria Police is urging anyone with information on these items to contact Crime Stoppers.
