On Tuesday, April 11, Lerderderg Library hosted a Yoshi Egg Painting and Pom Pom Craft Activity day.

Across two sessions kids were taught to paint their own colourful Yoshi Eggs and create vibrant Pom Poms.

It was one of many school holiday activities across Ballan and Lerderderg libraries inspired by inspired by the Super Mario Bros movie which is currently out at the cinemas.

Moorabool mayor Rod Ward said with the holidays being this close to Easter, the library team wanted an activity that could cover both Easter festivities and for families who have been to watch the movie or love the Super Mario video game series.

“The good thing about this craft is that it’s not just a one-time activity but can be used time and time again for imaginative Super Mario play. Let’s-a-go!” he said.
