The Victorian department of health has released the latest COVID data for Melton and Moorabool.
Melton has recorded 548 new cases today, making the total of active cases 5057.
Meanwhile, Moorabool reported 75 new cases today, bringing the shire’s total active cases to 393.
This comes as the state government received 3 million Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) on Sunday with distribution to key workforces commencing today.
Since the RAT reporting system opened on Friday January 7, 145,580 Victorians have reported a positive result either via the coronavirus website or by phone.
