Woodgrove Shopping Centre will come alive in the school holidays thanks to activities for kids of all ages.

During this first week of school holidays, shoppers and their children will be able to join an experimental journey involving all five senses, exploring the weird and wonderful ways our bodies and senses work and having fun in the process.

Included in the activities will be arts and sculpture, a “disco dome” and a “smell-a-vision” game.

To further heighten the sensory experience, the Woodgrove centre will supply a large-scale bubble dome.

Week two of the holidays will feature kids-in-the-kitchen action.

Centre manager Kylie Robertson said the food fare would be a great chance for families to have fun.

“We are thrilled to be able to give our inquisitive little mini-shoppers a chance to explore and learn new things about themselves and their favourite foods through our two new school holiday programs,” she said

Week one activities will take place outside Big W and the week two events will be held outside Coles.
