A Bacchus Marsh family say they are ‘walking on air’ after winning a division one prize of almost one million dollars in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The private syndicate entry was one of the four division one-winning entries nationally in Saturday’s draw, with each entry taking home a prize of $973,232.37.
The syndicate leader and family matriarch said she was thrilled by the news.
“When I told the family we won they were very happy indeed,” she said.
“We’ve all been walking on air since.
“It’s a family syndicate that has been running for years.
“It will go a long way to setting our family up for the future.”
The family, which wishes to remain anonymous, purchased the winning 18-game marked entry at the Bacchus Marsh Newsagency.
“We are so thrilled the win has changed the lives of a local family for the better,” he said.
“It’s what dreams are made of.
“We have decorated the store and will be talking to all of our customers about the win. We are sure they will be as excited as we are.
“This is the fifth division one-winning entry we have sold in 11 years. The last was in March, 2016.“We’d like to pass on our sincere congratulations to the winners. What an amazing week it will be for them.”
