IN FOCUS: Reclaim your smile

Prosthetists Ben Davies and Fabio Da Silva from Melton Denture Clinic offer locals a service with high professional benchmarks and a friendly approach to a process some people can feel a bit anxious about.

Ben took over the clinic back in 2012, with Fabio joining him four years ago.

“We’re all about setting patients at ease,” Ben says. “Some people are nervous – or even downright scared – to have any dental work done. Some are easy-going about it and we can share a joke.

“We meet them where they’re at, assuring the nervous ones that having dentures fitted is a comfortable process these days.”

And Ben knows his stuff. He comes from a long line of prosthetists, his grandad in practice for 70 years, his father 40 and Ben, a highly credentialed professional, is coming up for 16.

Fabio, with more than 10 years’ experience, works his magic from multiple other practices in Victoria, as well as Melton.

“He’s known for his positive attitude,” says Ben, “and a persistence with getting dentures exactly right for his patients, giving them a new confidence to step out in the world.”

All dentures are made on site, enabling a perfect match to a patient’s personal profile.

This leads to Ben’s assertion that if anyone is worried about dentures looking unnatural, they should definitely have a chat with him or Fabio.

“They’re welcome to come in and get assessed. When they discover just how good well-made, professionally fitted dentures look, all concerns will be laid to rest.”

A provider of free assessments and quotes, the clinic carries out full and partial dentures, offers custom-fitted mouthguards and has same-day, on-site repairs and relines.
