First step to feeling good again

Physiotherapist Joseph Louka is the man to see if migraines or neck dysfunction issues have been interfering with a happy, healthy life. In fact, attending to these painful problems has been his focus for the past two years and it’s making a difference to patients’ lives.

Joseph is the owner of 101 Physio, with clinics operating for the past decade in Melton and Hoppers Crossing. He has a team supporting him, each as committed as Joseph to “looking after patients as if they are treating their own mums”.

Joseph has had extensive training in treatments specifically for headaches and migraines and has shared this knowledge with his team so that more patients can receive unique help in this area.

“Debilitating headaches are common, even more so since lockdown,” Joseph explains. “We offer specific cervical spine treatment that helps to reduce headaches and migraines.

“Treatments can make a big difference to our patients’ lives, there’s just no need to put up with that kind of pain – we’re here to help!”

The diverse team at 101 Physio has loads of experience in treating all kinds of health conditions besides headaches. Each patient gets one-on-one time, with treatments discussed and activated by the appropriate practitioner for each visit.

Joseph has nothing but praise for his team, all collaborating to formulate plans to provide each patient with the best possible outcome, plus provide follow-up. They all love their jobs and find enormous reward in improving lives and making futures as pain-free as possible.

As Joseph puts it, “We really enjoy finding solutions that people may have been seeking for many years. The feedback we get is awesome, and it’s a joy to have such a positive impact.

“Most of our patients find us through word-of-mouth, which makes us feel a real pride in our work.”

Treatments for a multitude of conditions, include:

• Musculoskeletal conditions

• Neck, shoulder, arm and elbow pain

• Tennis elbow and tendonitis

• Repetitive strain injury

• Joint, wrist, hand, hip and body pain

• Chronic and acute pain and body aches

• Body aches and abdominal pain

• Strained muscle, leg, knee and ankle pain

• Foot pain and orthotics

As well as all-things physio, the multi-disciplinary clinic offers podiatry care, myotherapy and remedial massage, as well as Pilates and hydrotheraphy.

Lockdown is over, so Joseph encourages anyone now in pain or needing other therapies to take the first step to feeling good again.
