Bacchus Marsh lost its unbeaten record in the Central Highlands Bowls Division on Saturday when Lancefield won by 15 shots in division 1.
The 16-99 to 2-84 result put Lancefield five points clear on top of the ladder, with Woodend’s 82-shot hiding of Romsey bumping Bacchus Marsh down to third.
Lancefield (63 points) is followed by a trio of 3-1 teams, headed by Woodend (58) with a points gap to Bacchus Marsh (49) and Kyneton Golf (48).
Lancefield’s Mark Godbolt had the biggest rink win, 30-18 against Jeff Holloway.
Elsewhere in the division, Kyneton Golf 14-96 defeated Kyneton 4-78, Woodend 18-144 beat Romsey 0-62 and Trentham 16-98 beat Gisborne 2-73.
