BACCHUS Marsh Grammar pupils like Peta and Liam (pictured) ditched their parents’ cars last Friday, jumping on their bikes for Ride2School Day.
The initiative is aimed at making riding, walking, skating and scooting normal for students, helping them build the skills and confidence to ride or walk to school.
With obesity and type 2 diabetes a growing problem, the event was aimed at encouraging healthy living.
