EAST Sunbury is the One Day Comp champion after a two-run win against Woodend in the final at Goonawarra Recreation Reserve on Sunday.
East Sunbury made 121, then Woodend ran out of overs, 9-119 after 35 were bowled. Glenn Barfoot (3-24) and Michael Kostuch (2-29) were East Sunbury’s best.
Woodend’s James Hepburn was the only batsman in the match to pass 30, making 40.
