Step up to a new lifestyle

Compact but well formed, this is a property with immediate appeal for a young family, downsizer or smart investor.

With just one candle on the cake, the house has its new shine intact and a yard that won’t cut into weekend downtime. With a community centre for residents just around the corner, the pool there may be the biggest leisure-time drawcard anyway — and there are plans afoot to add more attractions in the future.

The grey and latte tones of the exterior are echoed inside, with dark grey floor tiles, latte-hued carpet and walls painted in a light sandstone. Everything’s sparkly fresh and roller blinds on windows keep it streamlined.

Ranged along the long entry hallway (with access to the double garage) are three bedrooms, with a bathroom, separate toilet and laundry with storage closet down a short second hallway. Secondary bedrooms are a good size and have built-in wardrobes. The main bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and opens to the two-way bathroom, where all is crisp and inviting. At the back are the tiled family-meals area and kitchen. Glass sliders open to a concrete-paved sitting area, the best spot to consider putting up a pergola. Entirely mulched, the compact backyard is ready for a little garden magic but is an entirely manageable blank canvas.

In Botanica Springs estate, opposite a creek reserve and bike trails, the property is close to a bus stop, St Catherine’s primary school and Melton Christian College.
