Melton residents can have their water bill questions answered at two upcoming Greater Western Water customer support days.
Set to run from 11am–4pm on Tuesday, September 23, at the Melton South Community Centre, and from 9.30am–1pm on Wednesday, October 22, at the Truganina Community Centre, the events will give customers the opportunity to receive face-to-face support.
A team of Greater Western Water customer care consultants will be on the ground to answer questions about your water bill, payment plans, support and concessions, and managing your account.
There will also be phone-based translation services available, with support offered in each customer’s preferred language.
Greater Western Water customer experience general manager Terence Alvares said the response to previous customer care days shows that there are community members who prefer a more personal approach.
“For some, it’s simply easier to sit down face to face. These sessions give people the chance to ask questions and get the help in a way that works best for them,” Mr Alvares said.
Each session will run for about 20 minutes, and if the team is unable to solve your query in that time, they will inform you about follow-up steps.
Customers are asked to bring their bill – if they have it – along with photo identification, and account details.
The organisation can only discuss specific account details with the registered account holder present.
Bookings are recommended, unless it is listed as a drop-in event on the schedule.
