Evening train services on the Ballarat line are being replaced by coaches for the entire journey through to the last service on Tuesday 3 February due to planned V/Line maintenance works linked to the Melton Line upgrade.
Disruptions will also affect the Ararat and Maryborough lines, with temporary timetables in place.
Coaches will replace Ballarat Line trains heading toward Ballarat from 7pm on Monday and Tuesday night, while services heading toward Southern Cross will be replaced by coaches from 8pm.
Coaches will replace trains for the entire journey, right through to the last service of the night.
Passengers are advised to allow up to 40 extra minutes for travel, with coaches operating from Southern Cross Station’s coach terminal on Spencer street.
