A collision in Mount Cottrell last week has since turned fatal, with a 39-year-old Wyndham Vale woman dying in hospital on Monday.
Police believe a motorcycle and truck collided in the intersection of Boundary and David roads just after 8am on May 2.
The motorcycle rider, a 39-year-old Wyndham Vale woman, was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition where she died on May 5.
The truck driver, a 33-year-old Tarneit man, was not injured and remained at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.
