Young artists in the Moorabool Shire are being encouraged to enter pieces in the 2022 Youth Art Awards.
Moorabool Shire Council Child Youth & Family Services are hosting the awards in collaboration with Bacchus Marsh Rotary Club to celebrate young artists in the region.
The theme for this year’s awards is pop culture and people aged between 12 and 25 who are living or studying in the area are eligible to enter.
The chosen pieces will be display at the Bacchus Marsh Town Hall between June 10 and 13.
The entries will be viewed by the Youth Action Group and a Moorabool Shire councillor and there are four $100 prizes available, funded by Bacchus Marsh Rotary Club.
The winning pieces will also be displayed at the Bacchus Marsh Rotary Art Show.
