Soccer teams across Melton will return to the field for the Football Victoria state league competitions in March.
Football Victoria revealed its calendar for 2022 across all grades, with the first of the competitions starting in February.
The National Premier League men’s top division will kick off on the weekend of February 20, with NPL 2 and 3 to start a month later on the weekend of March 20.
Junior NPL is the first to start playing, resuming on February 6 for the under-14s through to under-18 boys teams, while the NPL girls competitions start on February 20.
The NPL women’s competition starts on April 3.
In the state league competitions, the men’s divisions start on March 20 and the women’s competition on April 24. This includes Melton Phoenix, Caroline Springs George Cross, Spring Hills and Westside Strikers.
The opening rounds of the FFA Cup start on February 13 and the women’s Nike Cup on March 6.
