Rockbank Primary School pupils embraced all things pink to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The school held a Wear Pink to School fundraising day last Friday aimed at spreading the word about the charity.
Education support teacher Rita Ramsay said the event was an opportunity for the youngsters to learn about the disease.
“Breast cancer can affect not just women – men can also get it,”
Ms Ramsey said.
“We all know someone who has been affected by this disease.
“Lots of students chose to dress up in pink clothing, some even spraying their hair pink for the day.”
The initiative followed the national Go Pink campaign, which supports thousands of women with breast cancer and their loved ones.
Rockbank Primary School raised $390 for the charity.
