Free karaoke

Altona Sports Club, 11 Altona Road, Altona, is holding free karaoke Fridays from 9pm.

Headpiece workshops

African-born Melbourne sisters and founders of fashion label Collective Closets, Fatuma and Laurinda Ndenzako, will host headpiece-making workshops at Highpoint this weekend. From 1-2pm Saturday and Sunday, Level 2 outside David Jones. Cost $20 includes $10 Highpoint gift card.

Green fingers

All are welcome to attend ‘Organic Gardening for Life’ on the second Thursday of the month (next one September 14) from 1-3pm at St Joseph’s By the Sea, 16 Esplanade, Williamstown.

Barefoot bowls
