Motorcyclist hurt

A motorcyclist was critically injured after colliding with a van in Yarraville last Thursday morning. The 58-year-old Laverton North man suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

 

Free taxis

Bulldogs turn a profit

The Western Bulldogs Football Club is officially out of debt, posting a profit of $1.6 million for the financial year – the club’s third consecutive year of profit in excess of $1 million.

 

Wellbeing register

Residents who are aged above 50 or have a disability can join the Hobsons Bay Community Register for wellbeing checks and emergency alerts. The register is a joint initiative between Gateway Community Services, Hobsons Bay council and police.
