Hope for a brighter, cancer-free future is blooming in Melton. The community is being urged to support Daffodil Day, the Cancer Council’s flagship fundraiser each August. Supporters and volunteers will be selling daffodils and merchandise and collecting donations to help fund the cancer fight. This year, the Cancer Council is hoping to raise $4 million for cancer research. Daffodil Day will be on Friday, August 24. Residents can support the cause at a number of stalls set up across the municipality or by visiting daffodilday.com.au … Ewen McRae
