BULLDOGS legend Doug Hawkins is in the running for the senior coaching position at Bacchus Marsh Football Club.
Hawkins said on Melbourne sports station SEN over the weekend he had completed an interview with a BMFC sub-committee and was keen for the job.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? Would the ‘Hawk’ make a good senior coach for the Cobras? Post a comment below.
Club president Pat Mullen said the sub committee had met with at least 12 different prospective coaches and would deliver their findings to the board tonight.
“The sub committee will present their findings … usually we rubber stamp what they recommend,” he said.
Hawkins has previously coached several Cobras junior teams, and guided the Under 16 team to a premiership in 2011.
