MELTON’S Annette Langlands has received the go-ahead for a regional program on public television Channel 31.
Ms Langlands approached the station earlier this year with the idea of a show about Melton and Bacchus Marsh.
“They were very excited about the concept because they don’t have a show like this at the moment,” Ms Langlands said.
She’s hoping to model Weekly with Annette on other midday show formats and wants to provide a platform for local musicians, veterinarians or gardening experts. She also plans to produce local human interest stories, including interviews with senior citizens.
