BLIND musician Lorin Nicholson (pictured) entertained pupils at St Dominic’s Primary School in Melton last week.
The 2009 Australian of the Year nominee shared songs and stories designed to motivate the young children. Nicholson was declared legally blind at the age of four but was determined to complete a mainstream education.
The accomplished guitarist was named one of Australia’s finest musicians at the Country Music Awards of Australia in 2005.
