RDNL: Melton Central to face Romsey for grand final berth

PICTURE GALLERY TO COME

MELTON Central will play Romsey in a preliminary final for the second straight year after outlasting Riddell Bombers to win by six points on Sunday.

The Blues proved too good indoors at Riddells Creek with a 52-46 win in the Riddell District Netball League A grade first semi-final.

After suffering back-to-back losses to Macedon in the final round of home and away and then qualifying final, the Blues are back on track heading into the match against their arch-rivals the Redbacks.

Saturday’s preliminary final will be played at Macedon.

In the second semi-final, Macedon extended its winning streak to 12 with a 43-38 win against Romsey at Kyneton Showgrounds.
