FIRST-time visitors to Bacchus Marsh last Thursday would be forgiven for thinking they’d stepped into a story book.
The town was taken over by weird and wonderful characters for the Bacchus Marsh Literary Trail, in what’s becoming one of the major events on the community calendar.
A colourful parade headed down Main Street as children learnt the important skills of reading and writing, not to mention dressing up.
