YOUNG Moorabool musos have signed up for the next heat of the FReeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands.
All they need is local music fans’ support at the Bacchus Marsh Hall on August 25. Winners will go through to regional finals for a chance to play at the state competition next March at the Abbotsford Convent. With a number of quality entries received, the competition promises to be a great night for unearthing Moorabool’s next big muso. Signed up so far are rockers Khyber Belt, who supported Evanescence on their last Australian tour, indie act Lamb Boulevard and the Umbrella, Ballarat pop punk group The Mimes, and Bacchus Marsh metal band Logic in Madness.
FReeZA has been the ticket to rock for successful Australian bands like Airbourne, The Vasco Era, Her Nightmare, Kisschasy and Celadore.
