AT 15, Holly Azzopardi has her sights set on the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
But for now, she’s thrilled to be representing Victoria at the under-16 school hockey championships in Hobart. The event started at the weekend.
“It’s the first time I’ve made the Victorian team and the first time I’ll be playing interstate,” she said, “so it’s pretty exciting.”
The Catholic Regional College student’s cousin, Chelsea Pugh, 15, of Staughton College, also made the team.
“Everyone in our team gets along really well,” Holly said. “I love everything about hockey, being able to achieve things in a team and being good mates.”
