A SELF-confessed ‘problem solver’ intends to listen to the community as he stakes his claim for Central Moorabool ward.
Brian Meadows, who unsuccessfully ran for council in 2008, says he’s not about grand statements.
“I have no immediate solutions,” he says. “The key is to understand a problem and then find a workable solution.”
Mr Meadows says that if successful in October’s election, he will take pride in delivering services for ratepayers.
“I’ll make sure people are listened to,” he says. “I will take their ideas and problems on board.”
Mr Meadows, a business mentor, has also promised to focus on creating more opportunities for youth.
“The key is listening to them,” he says. “We must do everything we can to help them develop.”
Mr Meadows joins Margaret Scarff and Tonia Dudzik in publicly stating an intention to stand for council.
