Melton Phoenix’s winning streak continued on Saturday with a 2-0 win away at Meadow Park Eagles. The Phoenix could not climb out of fifth on the table but with 23 points remain within seven of the promotion pace, set by Heidelberg Stars (30 points). Paul Matusiewicz and Robert Bebenek were the goalscorers. Melton takes on Brimbank Stallions (sixth, 18 points) at MacPherson Park this weekend.
