GORDON overcame a 12-point three-quarter-time deficit to eke out a nine-point win against Skipton in the Central Highlands Football League at the weekend.
Gordon (4-8) improved to 12th on the ladder with the 6.14 (50) to 5.11 (41) win. Ballan (3-9) remains marooned in 15th on the ladder after losing 10.12 (72) to 18.9 (117) against Hepburn.
