Boats collide at reservoir , three injured

THREE people were injured when their boats collided at Pykes Creek Reservoir near Ballan on Sunday.

Ballan police Leading Senior Constable Ian Watson said a boat steered by a 36-year-old man and another by a 46-year-old woman collided about 50 metres from the shore at 12.15pm.

The woman received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ballarat Base Hospital with a possible broken shoulder. Her male passenger received injuries to his wrist.

No charges have been laid.
