BALLAN and Gordon fought out a thriller in the Central Highlands Football League, with Ballan winning by five points, 14.9 (93) to 12.16 (88). Gordon started the better and took an 11-point lead into half-time. Ballan kicked six goals to two in the third to take the lead and was able to hold on. Zachary Peoples, who kicked three goals, was best for Ballan, while Matthew Raworth was best for Gordon.
