Moorabool bridges upgraded as part of state-wide DSE drive

More than 300 Victorian bridges and crossings, with some in Moorabool, have been upgraded over the past four years through a Department of Sustainability and Environment project.

Bridges were completed at Springs Creek in March, on Spargo Blakeville Road (October 2010) and Bunding Blakeville Road (November 2010).

DSE roads and bridges manager Chris Stephenson said upgrades had provided better access to water catchments, parks and reserves, especially for firefighting and planned burning.
