A 10-year-old boy has been flown to hospital in a critical condition after being pinned between a car and a garage door at Kurunjang at 10am yesterday.
Paramedics were called to a home in Kurunjang, near Melton, after getting reports that the boy had been struck by a car and pushed into a garage door, or possibly a wall.
Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman Susannah Wilson said paramedics arrived to find the young boy in a critical condition.
“They had to do a lot of work on scene to stabilise him and they performed a number of procedures,” she sai.d
The boy was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital just before midday.
The circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
