Anzac Day: Melton veterans heartened by children’s enthusiastic response

More than 3000 people paid their respects to the sacrifices of Australia’s servicemen and women at Anzac Day services in Melton.

A dawn service was followed by a “gunfire” breakfast and march along High Street to the cenotaph.

Vietnam veteran Graham Sertori says he was proud to see many children taking part in the march.

“Those kids who were involved in the march will never forget Anzac Day.”
